Our Organization
As the organizer of the Abernathy Volunteer Club, I, Diego, am thrilled to invite you to join me in making a positive impact in our community. At just 16 years old, I've come to realize the incredible power of volunteering and its ability to transform not only the lives of those we help, but also our own. With this club, I aim to bring together individuals who share the same passion and drive to make a difference. Together, we can create a better world, one act of kindness at a time. Let's work towards a brighter future and make a significant difference in the lives of those around us.
Details
Twice a month we will hold meetings at the Abernathy Church of Christ building (916 Avenue E, Abernathy, TX 79311) to discuss upcoming community service events in which we will sign individuals up to work. Of course, these meetings are not mandatory, just beneficial.
We also have a phone number and social media for others to contact us for needs specific to that person. To respond to these needs I will contact multiple club members to organize a group and relay information for each need.
This club needs volunteers in itself. These are the current open positions aside from a normal volunteering position:
Photographer - Takes quality pictures of our efforts so that we can update our social media pages and this very website!
Logger - Tallies every member's time helped, people helped, and dollar impact value.
